ScrippsAVID (Arts-based, Virtual, Intergenerational Discovery) is a unique, arts-based program designed to connect people across generations through creative expression. By pairing individuals of different ages via video chat, the project fosters intergenerational bonds through shared experiences in art, music, poetry, and storytelling. ScrippsAVID seeks to address the growing issue of social isolation, particularly among older adults, by providing an opportunity for meaningful connection and creative collaboration. This project emphasizes the value of cross-generational relationships and aims to promote healthier, happier lives for all participants, reducing loneliness and enhancing social well-being.
